What are expression lines?

xpression lines or dynamic wrinkles are wrinkles that appear on the face, neck and neckline with age. They form on the areas that are used by our facial expressions. Little by little, they become deeper and more visible. These wrinkles are due to the muscular contractions of our face. Our muscles come into action several hundred times a day, when we smile, frown, laugh or talk.
Our skin can handle these movements well when we are young. It contains large quantities of fillers, collagen and elastin. These molecules and proteins help keep the skin smooth and firm. The quantity of these active ingredients diminishes with age. When our natural reserve diminishes, the skin becomes slack. Less firm and hydrated, it easily marks the folds caused by our facial expressions.

How to erase expression lines?

There are several ways to erase expression lines. Anti-wrinkle creams and facial gymnastics can delay their appearance and reduce them. Make sure you have a beauty routine adapted to your skin type (treatments such as serums, oils, creams, masks...) and stimulate your collagen production regularly. To do this, massage your face after applying a moisturizing oil on your hands once a week.
Taking care of your skin is not always enough: with age, wrinkles appear no matter what you do. You can treat your expression lines with tissue inducers or fillers, which are ideal for reducing the signs of skin aging. Tissue inducer injections trigger temporary contraction of facial muscles and block them. The skin looks smoother, tighter and younger. Filler injections are a perfect solution to erase wrinkles.
